Meet the GtP Team

Steve Mink
Steve Mink
Partner
Steve came to Washington, DC, after graduating from Ithaca College in 1984. He began as a production assistant with the PBS program Modern Maturity. He worked his way up to become a segment producer, where he became fascinated with the editing process. By the early 1990s, Steve was one of the original editors working on the AVID platform, heading the non-linear department at Henninger Video. He always had an interest in politics and began to work with many well-known consultants in the DC area.
Steve created GtP to provide a personalized and collaborative atmosphere without the expense of impersonal post houses. The technology has changed in many ways, but GTP continues to work with our clients to create unique and award-winning ads. Steve has partnered with Brad and Megan to help grow the business and provide exceptional service to clients large and small. Besides video and audio production, we help our clients control their data libraries by employing cloud storage for remote editing and long-term access.

David Hamilton
David Hamilton
CTO
As a former track and field star at his high school in Gaithersburg, MD, and American University, David's path to GTP took some interesting turns. He studied Film and Video in college, but after an internship at the U Street Music Hall in his Junior year, he focused his creativity on systems to enhance workflow, first at the music venue and then at GTP.
He came to us right when Covid changed the post-production rules. Clients and editors were all remote. David, Lily, and Steve were the only ones working physically at our office. Using the gear we already possessed, David made it possible for our work to continue uninterrupted, and when the Biden campaign called, we housed all of their media. This seamless transition in a moment of crisis enabled Biden's team to work and collaborate while being separated across the US.
David's newest success is the roll-out of the GtP Portal. David used the experience of 2020 to help create the portal, which enables clients to back up their media to the cloud and gain almost instant online access to their footage. The editing rules have changed for good, and David is helping GTP's clients use these systems to save money and work smarter. David recently relocated to Denver, CO, proving that you don't have to be "at the office" to be effective. David loves to travel, listen to music, go outdoors, and work out at the gym in his free time.
